Butterflies and Cactus

A young, fresh cactus with butterflies flying around are painted on the right side. On the left side the aged cactus stands with a worn-out butterfly resting.

In this exhibition, I tried to create an image in which time circulates by connecting these two into an octagonal shape.

In Japan, cactus is popular for its adorable shape, but this Turkish cactus that I modeled this time has full of life force and energy.
