Cherry Blossoms

Until about 20 years ago, numbers of Japanese painters such as Ikuo Hirayama, Matazo Kayama, Sumio Goto, had valued visiting China and interacting with them. However, interest toward China and the Orient countries are rapidly diminishing among Japanese painters.
Historically, Japan has learned numbers of cultural and artistic assets from China until the Edo period such as
"city planning" "temple architecture" "gardening" "ink painting " "Character format" and many more. The foundation of most of Japanese cultures are influenced by China.
It is true that Japan has acquired a global and modern life through westernization since the Meiji era. But this modern lifestyle has distorted traditional culture and interaction between other oriental countries.
I know that Japanese pop culture is accepted by young Chinese. But what I hope is to rebuild the relationship with China and other Oriental countries through common traditional art exchanges again.
