「盆・じゅうる」歌と踊りの小舞台
ジャズ歌手「水上まり」が日本の風物詩を題材とした自作曲を歌い、舞踊家「千春」がそれに合わせて独自の振付で踊ります。また、端唄や日本舞踊の古典など、多岐にわたる選曲での演目もご披露いたします。

Jazz singer Mari Mizukami performs original songs themed on Japanese seasonal culture, accompanied by dancer Chiharu with original choreography. A wide-ranging program including hauta (traditional songs) and classical Japanese dance will also be presented.

「一棟丸ごと絵灯篭」「ART OF LIGHT」

今年も10月4日から12日まで 旧山中家住宅とその近くにある御三戸神社での絵灯籠と 上黒岩遺跡への映像によるライトアップを行います。
絵灯籠は昨年は女性像でしたが、今年は男性を描いています。
また、映像によるライトアップですが、上黒岩遺跡から日本で一番古いワンちゃんの骨が出てきたことから、ペットとの共生をテーマにして、愛媛県内の犬猫のNPOさんから画像をお借りして、処分される犬猫の映像を投影しました。
今年は、上黒岩遺跡から12個の石に描かれたビーナス像が発見されたことから、日本のアート発祥の地ということで、絵の画像を投影しようと思っています。

“An Entire House of Painted Lanterns” / “ART OF LIGHT”
From October 4 to 12 again this year, painted lanterns will be exhibited at the Former Yamanaka Residence and the nearby Mitsudo Shrine, and the Kamikuroiwa Archaeological Site will be illuminated with projected images.
Last year the lantern paintings featured a female figure, but this year I am painting a male figure.
For the projection mapping, since the oldest dog bones in Japan were discovered at the Kamikuroiwa Site, we used “coexistence with pets” as the theme. With the cooperation of dog- and cat-rescue NPOs in Ehime Prefecture, we projected images of dogs and cats that are being euthanized.
This year, because twelve “Venus” figures painted on stones were discovered at the Kamikuroiwa Site, we plan to project images of artworks in recognition of the area as a birthplace of Japanese art.

Chalkboard Art
This year’s chalkboard art project has concluded. This year it involved three schools: Kuma Junior High School, Kuma Elementary School, and Myojin Elementary School. Please see below for details.

日本画家 伊東正次が被爆樹木を描く

巨封を描き続けてきた日本画家伊東正次が、繊維ゴミから再生された和紙に、襖12枚、横10.8メートルの被爆樹木を描く環境汚染第2位と言われる、ファッション業界から毎年廃棄される9200万トンの繊維は、環境を破壊し、地球規模の環境問題として大きな課題となっている。
和紙として蘇った繊維ゴミ（一般社団法人サーキュラーコットンファクトリー代表渡邊智恵子）に、日本画家伊東正次が、襖絵として命を吹き込んだ。爆心地に向かって傾いているという「被爆樹木」は、爆心地広島で生き続け被爆から80年目を迎える私たちに、平和への強いメッセージを投げかけている。

A nihonga painter who has continued to depict monumental trees paints A-bombed trees across 12 fusuma panels (10.8 meters wide) on recycled washi made from textile waste. The fashion industry, said to be the world’s second-largest polluter, discards an estimated 92 million tons of textiles each year, making this a major global environmental issue. Textile waste reborn as washi (Circular Cotton Factory, representative Chieko Watanabe) has been given new life as fusuma paintings by Masatsugu Ito. The “A-bombed trees,” said to be leaning toward the hypocenter, have continued to live in Hiroshima, and as we mark 80 years since the atomic bombing, they deliver a powerful message of peace.

多摩センター前の多摩中央公園内にあります旧富澤家にて第一回のたま講が開催されました。
古民家もただ眺めるだけではもったいない。
その昔、日本には西洋式の美術館や音楽ホールなどない頃、みなさんは、こんな形で、寄り集まって芸能や芸術を楽しんでいたんでは。五感全部を使って楽しめる。そんなことができれば良いね。という感じで和文化にこだわって活動している芸術、芸能のみなさんが集まってイベントでした。

Artists Connecting through Art
Italian artist Tarsito (73), who is based in Bari, a city in southern Italy, has come to Japan to promote exchanges through art with artists in the prefecture. On March 30, he collaborated with Zenka and others at the Sunanta Factory in Komuro, Fujikawa Town. Tarsito has visited Bangladesh, Cambodia, Morocco, and other countries and built friendships with local artists. He said, "I want to connect the world with art. Although we may have different skin colors and appearances, when we talk and draw together, we realize that we share the same heart. The world is one big family." <Murakami Yukiko>
Tarsito has been visiting various parts of the world since 2000. He is currently working on a project in which artists from each country add pictures and words to paintings that Tarsito and his team have drawn in Italy and brought back to Japan. In the countries he has visited, he has experienced the traditional culture of each country, such as embroidery and calligraphy.
The reason he decided to visit Yamanashi in Japan was because he was connected with Japanese painter Ito Masatsugu, who has an atelier in Otsuki City, through a Mongolian artist.
In addition to Ito, ink and color painter Koto Yoji, woodworker Wakabayashi Katsutomo, and Aoya are all based in the prefecture.
The project was produced in collaboration with Takei Aika and others from Suzuri. The completed work will be exhibited in various countries and Italy, and will be made public.

Tarcito also had the opportunity to visit Amahashi Honpo's Amemiya Yataro and contemporary artist Ishida Yasumichi, and to view their works.
"I didn't know much about Japan, but the people of Yamanashi are very kindhearted. It's like we have more brothers and sisters," said Tarcito, delighted.
Ito said, "I can only sympathize with the desire to create connections between people through art and connect the world. I'm happy to be able to participate."
On the 13th, Tarcito will perform with a flower arrangement artist at the Kudo Yojitsu Museum in Obi, Suo-cho, Hokuto City. It will be open to the public from around 1pm (admission fee required).
